Privacy Policy

1. Overview

This policy covers the Exee AI website (exetasy.com) and the free Exee AI desktop app you can download from it. The short version: the website has no accounts and collects very little, and the desktop app keeps your study material on your own computer.

2. This website

The website is a static information and download page. There is no sign-up, no login and no forms, so we do not collect your name, email address or any study material here.

Hosting logs: our hosting provider (Vercel) processes standard request data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

Analytics: we use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views in aggregate. It does not use cookies and does not build a profile of you.

Fonts and downloads: fonts are served from this site itself, and download buttons link to installers hosted on GitHub (github.com). GitHub receives your IP address when your browser requests the file.

3. The desktop app

• Your materials, exams, flashcards and readiness data are stored locally on your computer. We do not receive them.
• There is no Exee AI account and no Exee AI server for the app.
• When you generate or grade practice content, the app sends the relevant text directly from your computer to OpenAI using the ChatGPT account you signed in with. That processing is governed by your agreement with OpenAI.
• Sign-in tokens are stored encrypted on your device and are never sent to us.
• Anonymous usage counts (optional, off unless you agree): the app asks once whether it may send anonymous counts to our analytics provider, Aptabase. If you agree, it sends events such as “app opened”, “exam generated” with the number of questions and yes/no settings (for example, whether study material or a timer was used), along with your operating system, app version and language. It never sends your name, email, course names, files, questions, answers, scores or anything from your ChatGPT account. Aptabase does not store IP addresses, and events are tied to a random session id, not to you. You can turn this off at any time in the app’s Settings.

4. Your choices

You can uninstall the desktop app and delete its local data at any time. Because we do not hold personal data about you from the website or the app, there is usually nothing for us to export or delete — but you can contact us with any privacy request and we will help.

5. Children

Exee AI is intended for students aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
